Is this duck egg live or dead?

Hello yesterday I had candeled my eggs and one had appeared to be internally piped, it has been 24 hours so I decided to help it and make a safety hole.
here are the images, is this chick alive or dead? I’m really not sure. Beofre it had looked to be internally piped but now I’m not sure.

really hard to tell -I don’t hear peeping but I think I see something below it? I’m not sure. Please help. There is not really any smell.

The “air sack” is very close to the shell itself. I’m quite confused and concerned.
