Is this "egg-break disease" or maybe something else? (with pic)

I noticed over the last week that she had been a little lethargic, spending more time in the coop than out in the run. I thought she was just hot (it's been getting up into the 90's here) and kept making sure they had plenty of water. Yesterday my husband had let them out to run around and told me that this one seemed "sick" and she was just laying in front of the door to the chicken run. Her comb is purple-ish. Then today when I was filling up their water and she came out of the coop to take a drink, I noticed that this is what her vent looked like.
I have two other chickens and they seem fine. She seems to be drinking water, but not really eating. I haven't had a chance to see if her poop looks any different.
I have read about egg break disease before and from what it sounds like, it's fatal. I am just wondering if we should stop her suffering or if there is something that can make her better? Any help on this would be tremendously appreciated. Thank you!

I just read about "vent gleet" which I had never heard of before and it looks like that might be what it is?
