Is this egg cracked?

Hi there, can’t tell if this is a crack or not? I can only see it under LED. I’m new to incubation so I’m not really sure. Thanks for any help, sorry it’s a little hard to see

Yes, I think that's a crack. You can try to keep the egg viable by smearing a little melted candle wax over the crack to seal any defect and help keep air and bacteria out, and keep moisture loss to acceptable levels.

What kind of egg is it?

The egg may have a hairline crack, but it is also possible the egg may have cracked and been repaired inside the oviduct before being laid. The egg also has many spots where the shell is thinner/more porous. A thinner shell will more easily allow bacteria to contaminate a developing embryo, especially if the egg shell gets soiled. I would not attempt to hatch this egg, but if you try, just be aware it's chances of hatching are less than with an egg of better shell quality.
