Is this egg fertile?

This is one of our first eggs from a 23 week old BCM who is in a coop with a 23 week old Rooster. Does this egg look fertile? I know the rooster has been trying to do his "thing" but, from what I've observed, the girls haven't been cooperating. Thanks!

My husband won't ever tell me but I know he thinks I'm crazy... hehehe Her eggs are still pullet size. Shouldn't I wait till she's a year old and laying larger eggs before hatching some?

No need to. I generally wait a few weeks for the eggs to get a bit bigger. I've had no issues hatching pullet eggs.

im sure you could hatch some now. but i would typically wait another 8 weeks.
