Is this egg just big? Or is it a contender?

I was outside working on my chicken coop and I heard one of my hens making an awful sound. Now as you folks know hens can get quite loud so I didn't think to much of it but when I went out to collect today's eggs I found the largest chicken egg I've ever seen.

This egg is 7.3 cm (2.87 in) long and 98 grams (3.46 oz). My question is: Is this egg just above average or could it have broken some local records?

I think it was laid by a silver laced wyandotte, but it could have been one of my barred rocks or buff orpingtons.

Here is my contender at 3-7/8 ounces (from a medium sized LF EE hen!). Poor girl. I candled it. It is not our first egg this size, but it is our first double yolker!

It should be since we have 2 roos over 10 hens, but we have not cracked it open yet. I will have to check it when we do. If it was not a double yolker, I would consider setting it when my new bator gets here.

It's funny, but all my large eggs are just large eggs now. In the beginning, some were doubles, but now they are just big singles. Go figure.

I have never weighed them or measured them...

but here are some of the ginormous eggs that my chicken has laid...

and the latest one, and by far a GIANT of an egg....next to a fart egg laid by my Cochin the week before.
