Just a quick question about this egg I collected from the coop today, its slightly misshaped and has slight cracks that healed over while still in the chicken. Is it best not to incubate this one or might it be okay?

Also if anyone has any suggestions on how I can get better eggs from my hens for hatching, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks everyone in advance :)

I wouldn't incubate an egg that is already cracked, way to many down falls. Also it looks like it has a bit of calcium build up so it may be a bit more of a challenge for the chick to hatch. Good luck!

Okay I won't incubate it. This same hen have been laying dodgy eggs for ages. Her eggs always have calcium build up and are misformed. All the other hens lay perfect eggs, it's strange because they all eat the same layer pellets :/
