My broody hatched 3 chicks yesterday (day 20) and just got up off the last egg. I did a quick float test - it is a low floater with the air pocket, not at the top, but at the side (i.e. the egg floated horizontally, not vertically). I've returned it and hope she'll sit on it overnight. I put it to my ear and didn't hear any peeping. Do you think its viable and will hatch? If she abandons the egg I'll bring it in the house and keep it under a heat lamp to hatch.
