Quick summary: Found a broken and cold starling egg on july 2nd. Sealed it up and placed it in an incubator. I could see blood vessel through the hole, so I thought I would try and see if I could save it. 2 days later and I’m not sure if it is alive? There’s no strong indicator that it’s dead but neither alive. Can someone help? I’ll post a few photos.
The liquid inside moves around freely with a large gap of air in the top. I could see blood vessel through the hole, but not when I’m candling. There’s also a dark red spot in the egg, that moves around as I turn the egg, but tends to cling to one side of it.
