I'm currently hatching CPQ, was wondering if this food is appropriate for them when they hatch (I expect I'll need to grind it up a little). How long before I should switch to something else?

I prefer unmedicated feed and would keep looking for something else. At 30% the protein level is great, but I'd also check the amount of Lysine and Methionine. I can't recall the desired levels for those amino acids, but they're important, too.
Regarding the Avatec medication in the feed, I found this on the Keepers Choice website:

I'm not sure that I'd want to feed my birds anything that renders their meat unsafe for human consumption.
Thank you, that's exactly the information I was after.I agree with @CliftonQuail . Good protein content, but better if it's not medicated.
Here is an article that will tell you what to look for in your feed.

Avatec only has 5 day withdrawl period. It's a coccidostat, not much different than Amprolium or Corid. I don't feed medicated feed either and only would if I suspected a problem.I prefer unmedicated feed and would keep looking for something else.
