Is this feed okay

Is this feed okay for roosters to eat also.
I got the wrong stuff. I meant to get an all flock and put the oyster shell on the side for the hens, which I did last time but I got 3 bags of this by accident.
Also should I take the oyster shells away now.

leave the oyster shell, they will only eat it if they need it
it doesn't say how much calcium, but if this isn't what he eats for months, it should be ok
some people feed layer to the roos too.. I don't. I feed grower to everyone.

No it doesn’t say how muck calcium, only listed in the ingredients.

Yes he will be eating it for about 3 months. Him and 8 hens.

I will keep the shell out, it’ll be interesting to see if their bodies need more than what is already in the feed or if they don’t touch it.

How much did you get that feed for? With me, I've been putting both my rooster and hen on a layer crumble diet and my rooster seems to be fine..... I think people tend to worry too much, I remember reading from a big brand where it says roosters will be fine being fed their layer feed.

I think you’re probably right about worrying too much about nothing.
