OK...caught this IMPOSTER in the nest box with a hen who had just laid an egg. Guess that is why I've not seen the mating...he's been waiting till they lay and then gets them while they are still sitting in the nest boxes. Sneaky guy!
Does this one look like he has hackle feathers? I suspect the one directly behind him might be a roo too...will Rooster's stick together in the flock or are they more solitary and fight with each other?

That two pictures looks like a hen....the chicken in the back, have no idea yet.

That is a fertile egg for sure...I can't tell by the pics either if there is a roo among them...really sneaky roo...LOL...Just not seeing a sign of roo either in the pics......

Just depends on the rooster breed I think if they will fight or not...some get along fine....
