Is this fertilized?

Well I only have 1 drake, so I guess it shouldn't matter

.... Wow, every 10 min... OMG.... I was just trying to figure out how long I would need to collect the eggs before they weren't fertile any longer... so atleast 2 weeks from now then? Maybe even longer?

Do you WANT them to not be fertile? If so, I would wait at least three weeks, maybe four. But if you're just wanting to make sure they're all fertile for hatching and the drake is no longer present, then I would stop collecting after two weeks. If you just want to make sure they're all fertile and the drake *is* still present, then no worries. He'll keep working, and they'll stay fertile.

Enjoy! (And oh my gosh yeah--I am so used to it I don't notice, but folks who come over for the first time are often shocked at how, ahem, "active" my boys are.)

I DO want them to be fertile, and yes he is still present. I'm just surprised, because i haven't actually seen them going at it. Not that I really want to because then I would have to explain it to the kids, but I do want babies.

Ok. I had gotten my incubator set up and I put them in last friday night about 10PM.... I candled them tonight and it just looks like a normal egg. How long should i wait to candle? I am starting to think they aren't really fertilized. When should it look different then just clear with a yolk? It is like at the end of day 4, beginning of day 5. I thought i should be able to see veins starting by now.
