We have 6 barred rock pullets around 18 weeks old. Today I noticed that Berry has a sore on one of her wattles. I checked the others and none of them have anything. Her behavior is normal and I haven’t noticed anything else unusual. Is it the beginnings of fowl pox? Or just an injury since she does tend to pick fights with the others pretty regularly.

I agree with it looking more like a pecking wound or some sort of minor injury that scabbed over.

Keep an eye out in case you start seeing more popping up as it could be Fowl Pox.

I believe this is fowl pox, I've circled spots that are discolored, this is how my chickens looked when it started and I'd see pale or yellowish spots then within a few days they would turn black. Mine had no changes in behavior and ate like normal, in a flock of 17 it took 2 months from the first chicken showing blisters until the last chicken was fully healed and each one took 2-3 weeks.

Check out the haze over the bird's eye. I had two birds with fowl pox that started with just the hazed over eye. Both died with the neurological symptoms that followed.

The haze over the eye above may be the nictitating membrane (third eyelid.) This happens sometimes with a split second picture.
