I have four 5-month-old Buff Orpingtons. One of the hens has the lesions seen in the images below. I've put Neo Sporin on the biggest one. She is eating and drinking and acting fine. What do you think? Any treatment I should add?

I agree that is looks like an injury. You can google fowl pox to see the typical lesions in chickens. Do you have any metal fencing that she could have poked her head through or might have run into, although a peck may have happened.

Welcome To BYC

It looks more like injury to me.
Is she active/eating/drinking and acting normal?

You can put a little triple antibiotic ointment on the scab if you wish.
Yes, she is actively eating drinking, and just started laying yesterday. Hard to say, though, another of the coop mates the same age just started getting these black spots on her comb also. We've raised chickens for about 15 years in this same pen and never had issues before. ??? Maybe the fencing has developed a sharp spot.

Yes we have metal fencing, and they all poke their heads through constantly. Looks like a second of the chickens has the dark spots on her comb now. Any other ideas?
