I had a pretty bad run in with fowl pox earlier last year so I really hope it isn’t. Trixy developed these sores recently and I’m worried it might be fowl pox again.

Yes it looks like a mild case of pox. Scabs that have fallen off can remain in the environment and be contagious for months. Some use Betadine or Equate First Aid Antiseptic from Walmart to paint the scabs to help them dry up quickly. If fallen pox scabs become powdery and inhaled by a chicken who did not get pox, they are exposed to the virus. Most who get pox will be immune in the future to that strain of pox.
I personally wouldn’t, but it doesn’t hurt to be safe.Okay thanks! Should I quarantine her?
