i guess vaseline is not a 100% preventative, both my girls are higher in the pecking order, maybe they won't pick on them...

I can't imagine frost bite would affect their fertility. Now, if it would become badly infected, I can see some possible side affects from that... Just keep an eye on your girls, I'm sure they'll be fine.

Yes, it appears that your chickens do have frostbitten combs. I am not sure if there is any sort of treatment for this, but I know that rubbing a generous amount of petroleum jelly over their combs can help prevent them from getting too much worse (although if the area you live in gets cold enough to give them frostbite in the first place, there's really no way of completely preventing more).
