Is this GLW a hen or a roo?

I dunno...I see a pullet. Some masculine qualities, but...my roos were very roo-ey before 12 weeks. I also agree that it is a BLRW, not a GLW.

I took pics of their backs so you could see how they compare to yours.

The tail feathers are much more slender than the pullets which they are wider on sides and tip.

Neck feather patterns are more narrow than the pullets.

The comb is redder than usual.

The wing feathers, the primary, lower feathers, OP's bird, has solid orange or red than Lovinglife's pullets, see the lacings on the pullets' primary feathers.

I still stand, Op's bird is a roo.

Thanks for posting the pics of your birds Lovinlife, I can see a big difference between the feathers on your pullets and my chicken in question. He/she is getting a new set of pointy feathers on his/her back. My other Wyandotte of the same age just has rounded feathers. I just took a picture of my other chicken for comparison.

Well, we took "her" back to the poultry breeder we got her from so he could tell us for sure. He took one look and said "she" was a "he". He also said it was a BLRW like some of you posted. So, our little rooster is going to live with the breeder and about a zillion other chickens. We were able to see another rooster we returned last month when he showed signs of being a boy, and he looked really healthy and content, so hopefully they both will have a good life out on the farm!

We had to take the "hen" back to the farmer he was possitive he was a roo.
