Is this grit the appropriate size?

I have 1 1/2 week old chicks that I want to give treats. I placed a curbside pickup order from Coastal Farms for extra chick feed, a bag of chick grit, and other stuff for the house due to the social distancing rules in Oregon.

Anyways, they goofed and gave me regular poultry grit instead. Def too big. However I had a mesh bag around for produce and decided to filter out some of the grit and collected the smaller pieces. They are about 1/16th to 1/8th of an inch.

Is this too big? Too small? I've been fretting, because I don't want them to clog up.

Nice photo! Looks pretty usable to me but if you want to double check, grab a ruler. You're looking for pieces roughly 1/16"-3/32". If most of those fit that number, you're good to go.
