Thanks heaps. She is foraging in the garden by herself as the others are in the run. I just saw her expel more diarrhoea but seems to be alright, but I will hunt around and see if I can see an egg. I lost a bird nearly a year ago and I am sure that it was EYP, she was in a really bad way for 8 days. But this hen seems to be doing okay at this stage. Is there anything I should add to her diet to aid recovery/prevent infection, etc?If you can't feel anything, it has probably been expelled, and the others or she may have eaten it. Take some white vinegar and dilute it to about 1 to 4 with water, and squirt it into her vent with a syringe to wash out the cloaca. This will help with infection.
