Crowing
I'm not sure if this should be posted here or in Managing My Flock
Please move if it needs to go elsewhere!
So, my sebright roo(Rico) has started to bully by bantam cochin roo(Reagan). They have lived together in beautiful harmony for months! They are both about 5 months old.
Rico has started chasing Reagan to the point that I had to go rescue him out of the woods because he was so scared! Reagan doesn't fight back, he just runs.
Rico is super fiesty, which was cute to a point, but I definitely don't want his traits bred into my flock.
I've thought of rehoming him simply because I'm wanting more cochins and silkies in my flock instead of the more slender birds. Now I'm REALLY thinking of rehoming him. Lol
Is this something that will resolve itself? Is it the just the hormones kicking in or is Rico just being a jerk? Reagan is my gentle little puffball and he's just getting tormented
Pics included of the aforementioned jerk and the victim.
