Is this lady a rooster

He's a roo. He has a more erect stance than a pullet would at this age. Plus, the feathers and wattles are indicating he's a rooster too.
 
This is good to hear as I was just looking last week on Craigslist for a buff Orpington roo to defend the flock. All the ones I saw on Craigslist were being sold or for free because they are a little aggressive. So this worked out great. Hopefully I will be picking up four more girls for him this weekend. They are 8 weeks old
 
Just remember that he will go through his "teenage hormonal trials" and may be a bit more aggressive during that time, then they typically settle down. There are some great threads on how to handle roosters during this time too.
 
I was just peting him one they all went into the coop. I'll try to give him more attention. Hopefully he won't turn to the dark side. Or off with his head
