Is this Lash Egg?

I don't know if I've ever seen that before, even in photos.

Is she alert/eating/drinking on her own? How is she?

She is awake. Her comb is bright red but flopped over. She readily took

sunflower seeds. Here are photos from this morning. I had not yet administered antibiotics. Was about to head to farm store to buy antibiotics.

Sorry about all the typos in my last post! I agree, I’d start her on anabiotic’s right away. I personally would go for enrofloxacin, even though it has been banned in laying hens. Doxicycline might work, too. And siu da like tetracycline per @Wyorp Rock .

I've never seen anything at all like this. How long since she last laid an egg?

I’m not sure how long since her last actual egg, apart from this lash egg. My hens just started laying again since winter. I’d say I have only seen her egg ( color) nice or twice so far this month.

Update: started antibiotics today. She had a bit of something come out today , but no blood.

That is a lash egg for sure. Cut it open if you can and take another picture. Salpingitis or an inflammed oviduct is the reproductive disorder that causes those to form. Here are 2 articles about it:

It's good that she was able to pass that out, there may be more.
What antibiotic were you able to get?

I cut it open. It’s much smaller than yesterday’s mass and is not bloody like yesterday’s. ( images of yesterday’s above).
