Is this leg mites or molting?

She just started to molt. Some of her scales are lifted. Does she have leg mites or is she shedding scales because she's getting new feathers on her feet?

That doesn’t look like mites to me. How old is she? As they age their toes get gnarly…

Most of the scales on the feet seem to be laying flat. Doesn't look like the toes/legs are inflamed.

If you're nervous you could do a warm water soak for 15 minutes and then smear Vaseline on.

She's only 11 months. Thank goodness!
