So sad to lose a bird for any reason. And now, even worse, that you were likely sold a bird infected with Marek's Disease--and have exposed your entire flock. The limp, then going down with one leg forward and one leg backward, are the classic symptoms of Marek's Disease. Paralysis (and all was painless to your dear hen) is also classic symptom. It used to be called "range paralysis" before MUCH research has been done,. and the vaccine developed. Am truly sorry to read any new Marek's infections and loss of our valuable birds the hardest way--infection of our flocks! Very sorry~~~~!!!!!
