does this look like a mating attempt? or is my drake just being aggressive (i’ve never had a drake be mean to girls though, and i’m 100% sure my other two are females)

i have 3 pools, why would they fight over this one? if it’s just fighting, then i won’t have to worry about seperating him though!!

My flock is super contrary so I stopped asking why ages ago

I would say they are sociable creatures so its natural for them to get together - maybe its just one of them thinks threes a crowd and the others don't ?!
