Is this mites?

This an ugly frizzle mix hen (we love her though) she has weak feather growth and a balding neck and bald shoulders that are red. The condition seems to be getting worse this week. Her leg scales seem raised closer to her feet. What's up?

. Are you sure she isn;t being overbred? I have never seen a nything that bad. Check at night and see if there are any bugs crawling on her--that's the only way to tell for lice /mites. Honestly I don't think it's that, b/c of where her feathers are missing. Is she laying eggs?
