Is this molting!?!

I looked at my polish roosters head and it was all bloody like something got him. I have three hens and I think one might be pecking him but I don't know. What ate the signs of molting and is this molting. Can someone just tell me is this is molting or describe molting to me. He is a a year and two months

The photo you are showing does not look like the molting I've seen with my chickens. That looks like his feathers are being pulled out, not falling out on their own.

I'm guessing he may be molting, or being plucked,
and the new pin feathers are being pecked.

Pin feathers are full of blood, why they are also called blood feathers.

Circled feathers to right might be pin feathers.
Circled feathers to left look like they may still have sheathing near base.
