Is this mulch safe for chicken run?

Attaching an image from Home Depot website. Is this type of mulch safe? I understand it’s dyed, and I am getting mixed information online. First time using a run and looking to use mulch for the floor. I want something safe but getting a truck load delivered is not really an option because of the area I live in.

My understanding of that particular mulch (not all mulches,) is yes it is safe. Woodchips, bark, organic matter. It'll make dust when you spread it so water it down.

I personally wouldn't use a dyed mulch. You might try to search for bark nuggets instead, as those don't tend to get dyed.
