My 6 year old peacocks have both almost finished losing their train feathers but one of them seems to have lost a considerable amount of other feathers above his tail up his back. His downy feathers are completely exposed. I've never seen this amount of feather loss when they have lost their trains before. He has been alone since earlier in the summer because I was having social issues with them so there is no possibility of feather picking by others. Is it a normal moult or is something wrong?
