What was it?
You need to measure the temperature at the bedding level. Saying that you used two 100W bulbs doesn't mean anything. Your temperature could have been too hot or too cold. There is no way to know from the information you provided.About temperature, i use to combine two 100W bulbs as a source of heat and light, and on the floor
From that point, I didn't measure the temperatureYou need to measure the temperature at the bedding level. Saying that you used two 100W bulbs doesn't mean anything. Your temperature could have been too hot or too cold. There is no way to know from the information you provided.
It was two 100 watt heat lamps, but I was thinking that because they were hatched from the incubatorTwo 100 watt heat lamps or just two 100 watt bulbs? If they are normal white light bulbs they might be dying of exhaustion because they can't sleep. Also yes temp needs to be read from the babies level.
It is all about what you were doing in the brooder. I only incubate guinea eggs I have no trouble brooding them.It was two 100 watt heat lamps, but I was thinking that because they were hatched from the incubator, could that be a reason.? Because hatched them using chicken and they were all fine didn't observe that problem
I will incubate another eggs for guinea, after they get hatched, I will ask you a favour to help me with brooder condition so that I can manage to keep them all aliveIt is all about what you were doing in the brooder. I only incubate guinea eggs I have no trouble brooding them.
Your conclusion is faulty. You have not provided us with any information that would allow us to try to figure out what the problem was.
Knowing what the bedding temperatures were would have been a place to start.
Were yours just contently snoozing with legs behind them? Hope so!I am so glad this post is on here. This is my first year with Guineas and I woke up worried this morning that something was seriously wrong.
