Is this normal male quail behavoir??

I know this is taboo, but it's worth sharing, I raise my quail chicks with chicken chicks. I swear by it's calming affect on the quail. It's like giving an adhd child concerta - just mellow and happy, not flighty, fighting, and not bouncing off the walls - I ought to know, I still take concerta, lol!!

Actually, the jumbos I raised with chickens are also really mellow. They can't physically touch one another now, but some of the quails make a much more chicken-y sound as compared to the other quails I've had.
