Hi,
I'm a new chicken keeper and have two Warrens who are around 19-20 weeks old. We've had them nearly a week and they're happy, friendly little things.
I've noticed that when one of them poos, I can see a bright pink thing that the poo comes out of. I have no idea if you're supposed to be able to see this when they poo and it's just the rectum or if it's some form of prolapse. Can anyone shed any light on this? She seems well otherwise, although her poo is more watery than the other hen's.
Edited: Forgot to say that neither of them have started laying yet.
