Is this normal roo behavior?

We hatched out a bunch of roos last year. All was well between them, and between them and their father, until they got to the age where they wanted to mate. Then, they didn't hurt one another but they went crazy with my poor hens, aggressively chasing and attacking (mounting) the girls like there was no tomorrow. And for 5 of them, there was no tomorrow...

I had seven boys grow up together last year and they all got along even as adults. They seemed to have worked out the pecking order early on, long before they matured. Once they sexually matured they went through a sex crazed phase and terrorized my hens but that passed after a couple weeks. They totally reminded me of a bunch of teenage boys (human boys)
