Is this normal

I don't have a separate dish maybe I can just reduce the amount
A separate dish can be almost anything even a plastic container. doesn't have to be anything like a feeder. you just don't want them filling up on too much grit and not enough feed which can happen when you combine it.

Ha I'll try today sorry about waiting so long to respond I have been busy. My sucks are big scaredy cats let you how they respond
 
I picture that now their afraid of everything but wanna chase birds and squirrels.when I gave them the container Perry the khaki Campbell went straight for it when I show her the food.then when I put the it in their coop neither Perry or lemon wanted it

Probably anything new will finally get accepted once they get over the initial fear and curiosity takes over.

Most drakes are territorial they don't like to share their girls with other drakes and they can even be that way towards their humans too.
