Is this normal

As others have said, this is very likely molt. Check her over for pin feathers, they may be obvious or you may have to look hard. They are usually easiest to see around the face/head/neck, around the vent, and under wings. This is what they look like:

If you look closely (assuming it's molting, not the aftermath of an attack) you will likely see some little "quills" protruding from her if you carefully lift her remaining feathers and look at her skin. These are completely normal, and are the new feathers growing in. Be gentle with them, because they are fragile in that stage.
If you look closely at my rough looking Rosa lee you can see what the “quills” look like. ( rough molt this year)

Me too. I feel like every year one of get older their molt gets worse. Wonder if there a connection? I have one that takes it personal and hides in the corner by herself for weeks during it. Like she’s embarrassed

Ya she has some on her neck mostly underneath her is where there coming out, but this is normal to produce this many features? I've had chickens molt before, but never one that lost a ton of feathers in one day.

Some take a couple days some it’s like overnight. Just like few weeks ago I put the chickens up before I went to work ( work nights) and everyone looked normal and came home in the morning and looked like one exploded Tons of feathers and partially naked girl. Does look like there was an attack. Still shocks me the amount that comes off of them. Seeing flying feathers when the fly down from the roost.

Does she have feather loss just in the rear? I would say check for mites but no way that many feathers would come off cause of mites. Still suspect molt
