Is this normal?

Morning pictures:
Not the best pic but was just before sunrise so it was still a little dark and my phone didn't like it. Noah on the left. Xena is the hen in the Back. Annabelle is the hen in Front. I just wanted to include a standing up picture.

After sunrise so much clearer pic.

All in all, I think it's safe to say that she is just a really good eater. Agree?
Thanks again everyone!

Yep, she's just eating good!
One of my Cayuga ducks will forage and eat until her chest nearly drags the ground. :lau
I also thought something was wrong at first. :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one. :lau

Same here with one of my Buffs. Big buxom girls:lol:

They are something else! :love

When we had that cold snap come through not that long ago, she would walk a little bit and then sit down. I was like, oh crap! What's wrong with her legs? :barnie They weren't turned inward or anything but I brought her in and added niacin to her water and sprinkled brewers yeast on some food for her and observed her for the night. She's acting fine and wondering why the heck I brought her in. Took her back out the next day. Observed her throughout the day. She was doing the same thing. She'd walk over here or there. Find a spot she liked and sit down and just eat around where she could reach. It finally dawned on me that she was just trying to keep her legs/feet warm but didn't want to stop eating. That girl definitely likes her food! :gig I didn't ask about that issue on here. I figured it out on my own that time. :yesss: I'm still learning lol.

The call ducks are hilarious when it's super cold. They will scoot on their bellies towards the treats to keep from uncovering their feet! :gig
