Is this normal?

I have a ~one week old chick and it's butt seems purple and pulses. We've been cleaning a lot of poop that get stuck to it's butt the past couple of days.

That almost looks like some kind of internal hernia. Does it act differently than the rest? Does it seem to be in pain if you touch that area?

It seems happy and like all of the others. It doesn't seem in pain when touching it.
