Is this normal???

I just went out today and noticed that our Buff Orpington, Tilda, is looking kind of sickly. She just molted for the first time and is the only one that molted this year. Her comb and wattles are looking really shrunken and pale, is this because she molted? Or because of the cold? I haven’t noticed it with the others at all.

It is because of the molt. Hormone levels fall and all energy is put to the growth of new feathers during a molt. She will be okay.

Yep it's fine it will become much more red in the spring also their legs will become much more vibrant because they had a rest in egglaying
