One of my girls just pooped this gross 101. They are 6 months old. Is this normal or does she have an issue? I’m new to all this. Thank you in advance.

Could she be passing some egg material from a broken soft shell egg inside? Is there any blood in it? Do you notice one hen with a lowered tail position who may be weak or lethargic and maybe off to herself? If you can identify the hen, a human calcium tablet or Tums given orally might be something I would do. Could they have eaten something different that caused it?

Good luck! I looked at a few articles about chicken droppings and didn't find this chart I've seen in the past that was really helpful.

I did find this quote that might apply to you:
"Consequently, there is no need to panic in case you observe frothy poop from your bird. That day, it might have consumed lots of protein, and its system is responding differently because of the additional intake.

Nevertheless, in case the hen goes on having yellow and foamy poop, there might be a bacterial infection in the stomach. It might also have worms. Observe the bird closely to ensure that it passes gradually over time."
