IS THIS NORMAL???????????????????????????

Alot of handling. Also, try getting them to eat off your hand/fingers. At 2 weeks old I start giving treats of mealworms. I raise the mealworms specifically for the chickens, so I usually have plenty. I love watching a chick grab a worm and then take off running around the brooder while the others give chase. The one with the worm is NEVER quiet about it, so all will know it has something.

Hold them alote and like Matt said try feeding them out of your hands. They are only 6 day's old so it may take a little while for them to "like" you. I go in there were mine are all through out the day either picking them up or putting my hands in the brooder with them. Some of mine will eat out of my hands, but not all of them. It does take time. Just keep working with them.

Chickens all have personalities , like people. I've raised a few batches, and handled them, gave them treats, sat on the floor with them for hours. There are a few that hate my guts anyway. You never really know......

Justino, I think it's just too early. At some point, they get curious, then they want to know what you are. Just be patient. All I did for weeks is put some flavored yogurt on my fingers and let them eat it. Sometimes I had to accidentally smear some on the tip of their beak, LOL.
I also really think that smaller groups are easier to tame than large groups. I had the best luck with like 3 or so. With more, it takes longer, I think. Don't worry, just be patient and spend alot of time watching them while they watch you!

THEY WILL BE ATACHED TO YOU..

They are just babies. Instinct is running high in them.
it is what they need in the wild to survive. The older they get the better they get.

I have 60 silkies and out of all of them I would say 5/6 don't come to me to pick up they are skittish.
But all the others are always under my feet and I have to be care ful not to step on some one..
Hold all three at the same time..

Just remember they are not puppies and kittens.

When I hatch baby ducks they are so sweet and cute for a few days them they become nuts, when you put your hand in the brooder they run around so fast like they are going to gatherd up and be taken to the slaugther house or something.

Mine are like that too. I wouldn't say any of mine are wild, but the ones who come running up to be held are few and far between. You are very right ....they're not kittens or puppies and I think people forget that and have unrealistic expectations for their birds.
