i have a california white that started laying about 6 wks ago. She started off laying an egg 5 - 6 days a wk. She's kept that up until this wk. I haven't seen an egg from here in at least 5 days. The other day i noticed really watery poops as well...not sure if there is a connection

I've also been finding shelless eggs. I've found at least 6 but i also have several other pullets that are new layers or haven't started yet.. I don't know if there have been several laying the shelless or just one.....

They all get 20% protein layer feed, all eggshells are dried and fed back to them, they get acv in their water.....
They have a wide range of fresh treats... zucchini, tomatoes, leftover scrambled eggs, toast/bread, grapes, apples, corn cobs, meat scrapes, cottage cheese, yogurt, etc etc.

It's hard to know whether one bird has a problem without finding out who is laying which egg. You could try the food coloring on the vent method, if you don't have too many birds. Sometimes when a lot of treats are given, they actually alter the nutritional balance of what they eat, especially if most treats are non-protein as they often are. You have a good variety so it probably depends on the various quantities. Also, birds are lactose intolerant. From what I've read, they can tolerate small amounts of yogurt as the lactose is more or less pre-digested, but I believe this is not the case with cottage cheese. I found lots of info on this by Googling. You might have a bird with a defective shell gland. Hard to say. This is a good article on various egg deformities:
