Glad I read that. First I took out the poor bullied bloody hen. Then I had second thoughts thinking the male might turn on the other females once this little one was gone, or might turn on any new birds I might get. So I put her back and took him out. The ladies have been getting along well all day; the bullied one is feeling a bit poorly though. Is there anything I can do for her swollen eyes? I am not sure she can even see. As for him he won't be coming back; the promise of his future fertility is hardly worth the cost of bloody hens too stressed to lay!
The eggs are fantastic, can't believe birds this little can lay so many eggs.
