I was looking into getting some pine chips ,so i went to petco.com and all i found was a mixture of pine,spruce and fir shavings..

but yah if thats not ok,thats fine,ill find some pine shavings somewer,i just want to know if its ok if i gave it to chickens of any age

This looks OK as long as there is no Cedar. But you are paying way to much. Do you have a feed/farm store locally. Anywhere you get horse supplies will have bales of pine shavings.
 
Should be OK but I agree it is way too expensive. Any feed/horse supplies store will have big ole bales for less.

For the first week or so of a chick's life, use paper towels. They don't know shavings aren't food yet and may die of blockage. After that then shavings are fine!
