Is this okay for duck feet?

So I plan on putting some kind of small rocks around my duck's pool. Would these rocks be okay for their feet. I do not want to deal with bumblefoot.

That looks very similar to what I use around our swim pans. I call it smooth pea gravel.

Yes, That is all I have down in my run and sidewalk blocks...Easy to hose down all the poop...Does get stinky on hot days but really not that bad.....
