This one is indeed a cockerel. I would still wait a bit on the four week old. I'm not confident it's a pullet when it's not even entirely feathered outI have a cockerel with some barred feathering...I can tell that it's different than the brown colored... but I'm getting confused with this male/female paterning.

#1 and #4 are cockerels, I would wait a bit longer on the other twoI have 4 more. Please help me sex these. I was under the impression that dark red wing patches indicated males ...now I'm seeing dark red in the barred feathered chicks...
