I found this white and black crested bantam polish chicken.
Its still young and peeps like a chick.
Ive never had this type of chicken before so if it is a roo, i don't know if its mature enough yet to tell.
I assume its a hen but what do you guys think?
I want to make sure before i assume its a hen then go off and buy a rooster....and find that this one is a roo as well.
I think having two roosters probably wouldn't end well ._.

It's a hen. I have a Polish rooster ( named Spot of course) . He is the same color as yours but the plumage on his head is spiky. A hen's plumage is rounded.

I would say hen if its older than 4 months if not Rooster. My rooster had a nice rounded crest to but as soon as he molted his spikey hair came in the wattles are the first thing that make me think roo and also it does look like it does have thin spikes in the crest. If its still peeping like a chick than its proubly younger than 4 months.

Ok, i'll be taking some nicer pictures today :]

ya i thought it was less then four months aswell
I just need to make sure, because the farm fairs are coming next month and i need to know before then whether to get a rooster or not .

I say a young rooster. don't let the shape of the crest fool you, look at the shape of the feathers, they're long and coming to a point. also if its young its showing a lot of wattle to be a young pullet. just my 2 cents
