Is this Polish chicken a hen? (NEW PICTURES!)

I'm gonna guess hen. The WCBP rooster I raised this spring (freebie from McMurray) had a really spikey and messy 'do.

Hen. Looks jus tlike my Wilma when she was little. I just a black on black crested polish hen with a smooth rounded crest and the boys crest was wild with feathers pointing in every direction. What a great find. She could be your lucky penny.

Gotta be a roo. Those waddles are huge. Mine had a smooth crest up until recently, and we thought for sure he was a hen. Then the waddles grew quickly, and the smooth crest started to look a little punk-like. Sadly, Ruthie is now Rudie.

He crowed.

Yup, you've got a roo. Notice how the ends of the feathers on the crest are pointy, dead give-away. He will have a nice crest though, since it is pretty rounded.

The more i think about it...the more i was starting to think it was a rooster !
I was worried about it being picked on when i introduced it to my standard hen, now that i know its a roo, do you think it might still be a problem or no?

Yep its a young roo! I would say about two and a half months old.
