Is this polish coloring always a cockerel?

Here's a photo of what I believe is a gold laced (?) roo. They have dark heads with a little gold in them. Silver laced would be about the same, only with white instead of gold. The top hat feathers on roosters are narrow and spiky.

This is a silver laced female. All the head feathers are nicely rounded and laced. They have more of a pom-pom look.

This will apply to any color of Polish.

Yep, that's a hen... and it was stretching, not silent crowing.

Lol...you are so right! I have one hen that sounds like a goose when she getting ready to lay an egg...makes more noise than my rooster.

Most of my young roosters sounded like a off key tuba section in a band, not much like a crow at all for several weeks.

Mine makes that noise, regardless. She starts making me crazy after awhile. I think she does it because she likes to watch me try and figure out what her malfunction is!

I say definately a pullet, Congrats! And she looks just like my old hen Uh-Oh who was the same exact color with alot of the black spotting. As she got older, some of the black went away.
