Co brooding happens. In my experience it has led to low % hatches.

I can see why. One is on them in the morning the other at night and no one in between. Now watch the third girl take that shift.

I only have runners but I had 3 of them starting to sit on 3 different nests outside all at the same time. Meanwhile back at the house, I had 11 runner eggs around to hatch. I was kinda freaking out but the older girls got over their broodiness pretty quickly and all was well with the world.

Well the runner is back on her nest., like clockwork quacking away .
