The good thing about chicks that young is they're still growing and developing everything, so it's relatively easy to correct limb problems if you catch it in time.

I really appreciate the advice. Nine chicks ended up hatching, over more than three days. The remaining eggs show no signs of life, but I’ll leave them in the incubator one more day to be sure. The nine baby quail are all lovely, and the one with the leg problems was literally cured in 24 hours with the Bandaid trick.

My goal is a flock of six hens and a rooster, so now I’m eager for them to become old enough to sex. I’ll probably be back here for help with that, as my last flock were Brown coturnix, which are easy to to sex by color. These Texas A and Ms will be more difficult. Thanks again!
